Did Hiruzen really die?

Funny how since chapter 639, we have no idea of Hiruzen's current state. I don't like the way Kishi seems to have pushed him in the background like other fodders just staring there and watching. Tobirama got his entire body blown up after being ripped apart by Obito and all that before Hiruzen, yet he managed to come back in chapter 641 and make his moves. 2Chapters later, still no Hiruzen

Did he really die or something? And it's not even as if the others are caring about him. Tobirama for example called his brother to help totally forgetting about Hiruzen who was supposed to be closer

But others say he isn't.

In my opinion, he isn't dead because what would be the point of introducing him to come and fight if he dies in like a couple of chapters. Also why hasn't anyone acknowledged that he's dead. He's probably just taking time to regenrate.

We won't know till manga says he's dead or alive

He won't return, because with Obito's attacks they won't regenerate. Its sad, but we've already seen everything Hiruzen can do, there is no reason for him to remain on the battlefield.

In short I think he is for his powers weren't fully manifested yet. For now I'm assuming Hiruzen is either preparing something or is analyzing. It could also be that he's still recovering.

Remember, Edo Tensei is Tobirama's technique so he may know how to heal faster.

It was unconscious Jubi's Jinchuriki who hit Hiruzen and Tobirama, not the conscious one who use onmyoudon. It's for that reason Minato's arm isn't back, and no, the one who got hit was the real Tobirama, not a clone

Heal faster? How so? The technique has not been portrayed like this. Even Minato who got hit later than Hiruzen was supposed to have his arm back soon according to Tobirama. And i don't see what he would be analysing at this point when there is practically no actions since past chapters and the only thing to analyse(senjutsu techniques) was already discovered by others

I tried to explain it. I was incredibly annoyed at the time.

I've already explained it. He's not "dead". Onmyodon, the version that lets him nullify Ninjutsu and cancel Edo's regenerative properties, is in his controlled state. In the uncontrolled state, he took out both Tobirama and Hashirama's clone and Tobirama regenerated. Logically, Hiruzen is still alive as well.
