I never said they died on the same year, silly. Read thoroughly next time!
I just said Obito returned to Konoha on the day of Rin's death. Implying that at least a year has passed since then for him to return to Konoha on the anniversary of her death. U_U

It was alright with the war being for Rin and how he wants to be with her in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, but Kishi must have a grudge against Obito's character or something. He makes it worse every chapter.

wait i have reread the chapter again and from what i can tell...Rin died on the same day Kushina did right? it would make sense being...Kakashi was sent on a mission on his own since hes jonin or he didnt have time to contact minato to help save Rin and he went on his own to save her. Minato was probably busy getting Kushina squared away so therefore Rin and Kakashi are vulnerable and Rin sacrifices herself. Really, its no ones fault she died...she was kidnapped, had a damn jin thrown in her so they could destroy the village. it seems like Obito, in fury and rage, took their idea and decided to take the kyubi from Kushina, because he would have known she was the Jin, and attack the leaf with it. Kushina being pregnant probably just made Obito's day as far as ruining Minato's life goes...
