It's not about who is needed in the plot. Although he/she is a main character, it would be realistic if he/she die, and the rest of the plot goes to the others.

Similar to Game of Thrones. Ned Stark dies at the end of Season 1. Then we start having all this deaths.

While you make a good point, I'm curious on why kakashi has to die in order to conclude his tragic story?

This might just be my take on it but it's clear Kakashi was only revived by Kishimoto so he could instead die in this arc. His whole character arc with Obito and coming to terms with all his past mistakes now that his past has been brought centre stage...it'd just seem odd for him to just survive the war and continue on with his life? No...he's a side character who is far too emotional and integrally connected to the events going on that to me, it'd be anticlimactic if his story didn't end here yknow? (I love Kakashi)

First, i gotta agree with these guys.
Kishi may killed countless possible characters; but noo, he gotta take the one with potential and deserved a happy future to make some chapter for pairingtards. 615 was a disgrace. Team Gai fleed into background. Gai made a bigger deal when Lee got injured in part 1, now he just says Lee to man the **** up right after his student whom he failed to protect?! Tenten just says "Lee" ?!Team Gai should have take the 615, not Naruhina shit. They got a tiny ass panel cuz Naruhina moments needed more space, i âm not an expert writer but which author in the right mind does such thing?

One of the main 3 dying would always revolutionise the whole manga. Maybe...what Naruto said to Sasuke about 'dying together' might still bear some meaning.

They could atleast show him trying to blitz Juubito even if he fails to do damage.Lee is one of the fastest base characters in the series and it sucks how he's just being wasted.

İt sucks that his speed got nerfed down compared to other characters...He needs to get redeemed at that department, let alone his taijutsu feats.

I agree,what happened to that lightning fast speed that Lee had shown against Gaara?He's fast as hell even without the gates and when he uses them he could blitz just about anyone.Not to mention he does'nt need any mode in order to be fast like Naruto,Ay,or the Third Raikage.

The lack of deaths doesn't help but I don't think it directly damages the plot either.

On the whole Neji situation, I am of the opinion that it was needed, at least one of Naruto's close friends had to die and Neji was the one who he could do the most with. I liked Neji a lot and he was one of my favourite characters, but Naruto had to find a way to get past his ideological mindset of being able to save someone by having someone die in front of his eyes. Naruto got past it and I guess Hinata got development too. Also it allowed us to go back to the past and although Neji got to choose his fate, it still seemed a bit contradictory that he died for the main house.

That being said, Kishi's execution was absolutely terrible though. He took a well liked character and did him dirty, and then didn't even give his teammates a chance to get any development which is just wrong.
