I browse /r/Pokemon sometimes and people come up with original Pokemon that are much more interesting than the ones created by Nintendo.

1st and 2nd gen were incredible because I grew up with them. Anything after the 3rd gen is just pathetic, the 3rd gen is pretty borderline and half of them were iffy...

If you're planning on watching the actual 'anime', then no. The game itself...it just hasn't got that ethnic feel anymore. The graphics have moved onto something that is trying way too hard to look like a legitimate '3D game' (I'm talking about XY here, aka gen 6) I'm not particularly a fan of that. ._. The new pokemon actually look kinda appealing imo. u_u

I was just feeling very nostalgic because of the memory's I have of this show, almost literally brought tears to my eyes. To think of how far down hill it's gone and will continue to if they don't make some serious changes. I would actually prefer to see him go back to kanto, johto, and maybe hoen, imagine how strong the gym leaders would be by now "in the anime".

I know this will never happen but if they followed the pokemon manga it would of been awesome with Red, Blue, Green (blue was never shown in the anime). but yeah I wouldn't mind seeing ash actually grow up and return to the old pokemon areas.

Right, or that STUPID GARBAGE pokemon, what's it called? Garbadoe or something? It's just ridiculous, I'm even surprised they're still airing pokemon, my GOD. I haven't watched pokemon since I was coming up.

That shit sucked from the start. The manga was way better. I hated how they took something that had so much potential, and aimed it at 7-12 year old's. Imagine if it was actually serious. And why was the catch phrase gotta catch em all? He caught like twelve and gave up and moved to another region. lmao
