Actually i think it's more like he was the only character to show his ungratefulness. Sakura didn't do anything for sasuke after a while and even decided to kill him. Naruto ,on the other hand, has always tried to win her over. if you ask me Sakura is way more ungrateful. I don't remember her ever thanking kakashi for his help. actually no one from team 7 actually thanked kakashi for being a good sensei except for naruto maybe.
