I mean the only redeeming quality of the film was Wolverine fighting the giant robo samurai


and even then, he killed way too many people. And sleeps with another guys fiance, then gets mad at that guy for doing that on a lesser scale.

He transferred his mind to that coma patient he was talking about in the beginning of the third movie before Phoenix jean blasted him.

The twist at the end made the wolverine worth it for me. Lol. My girlfriend fell asleep watching it in the theater.

First the "robo Samurai" Is Silver Samurai and he was a major part in the original Wolverine origin stories. Secondly Wolverine NOT killing a bunch of guys before meeting Xavier is even more ridiculous. Wolverine is the best there is at what he does and what he does isn't pretty i.e. murder. And yes Wolverine did steal Silver Samurai's wife. I'm guessing you knew very little about Wolverine other than what the movies have shown.

If 20th Century Fox stops making X-Men movies every other year, they lose the movie rights. And the rights goes back to Marvel. 20th Century Fox has always disappointed me when it comes to the X-men Franchise. But from a business stand point, X-Men and especially Wolverine draws out fans to watch even though we know there's a good possibility that it will be horrible. Why do you think Stan Lee doesn't make a cameo like he does with the other Marvel films?

I know that it's a movie and so they don't have to follow the original canon. But come on, Silver Samurai as an exo skeleton made out of adimantium. The Wolverine-Mariko story arc was a major Character developing time for Logan aka James Howlett, and this movie just didn't capture that. The essence of what the Wolverine character is about a man who walks the line between man and beast. He's the original anti-hero persona. And while I accept that Hugh Jackman is a good actor, there's only so much he can do with a poorly written script.
