What if everything in Naruto is one of Jiraya's books?

As the title says. What if this entire story was the work of a middle aged Jiraya's best selling book that changed the ninja world for the better? Troll or ingenious plot twist?

I agree. Naruto would have been told the story. The would make sense as we was introduce to the Obito story with no point until later shown in the Manga he was Tobi.

You can't be serious...I said what if the ENTIRE series of Naruto was one of Jiraya's books, meaning his character in the story died, but in reality he's still alive.

Yeah, I never said the story was from Jiraya's point of view, he was just the author of it. And he would die in his story for character development for the main character and to help get the message across that the next generation should inherit the will of the old one

I'd love it if this happened. Would be extremely poetic. It would really put some more emphasis on their relationship, and really make me appreciate Jiraiya more.
