[Question] What is One Piece?

I started watching the anime 3 weeks ago, am currently in ep178... The series is so goddamn good. If you love adventures and a pretty decent plot, one piece is the show... But if you looking 4 good fights, stick with Naruto.

Wow the guy that says One piece sucks, well your face sucks. I wont say one piece is better than Naruto or that Naruto is better than one piece, in fact they pretty both the most popular watched anime across the world both of them. I watch both Naruto/Naruto Shippuden and One piece.

One Piece is super awesome, you should watch it, but thing is that it gets better like later in the series, they are pirates trying to become the best pirate crew around and the main actor Luffy wants to become the pirate king! you should watch it honestly it really cool the powers they have and the fighting is super awesome also the story line.

Importantly its way funnier than Naruto the way the characters act and over do their reactions really beats Naruto by far when it comes to it being funny.

My point is that one piece is a must watch anime really u just got to push urself past the first 50 episodes then it becomes really really addictive and interesting how the characters unfold and grow stronger and becomes more thrilling.

I prefer OP to Naruto by a large margin, in fact many ppl who actually read both do but maybe Naruto forums arent the best site to ask for OP opinion (reason stated aove), imo its funnier, more epic, sadder, has by faaaar better characters, by faaaaar better and more consistant story, better fights, better powers, Has way more imaginatiom ...

One piece is about Luffy a guy who wants to become pirate king by hunting biggest treasure in the world, it's more hilarious than Naruto and plot is also good..

One piece is a master piece.

Simply put it is a group of pirates on a journey to find the ultimate treasure. The One Piece ; so that their captain Luffy can become the pirate king.

Similarities:
-Ass pull powerups
-Perverts
-Lots of varying powers

One piece is greater than Naruto because:
1.The quality of writing is more consistent than Naruto
2.The humour is pretty good (Narutos is shit)
3.The manga is charming and has a unique and indescribable feel to it ( yeah it sounds strange )
4.One Piece values friendships
5.There is no such thing as a villain in One Piece as there are so many different sides that you could even say that the main characters are anti heroes
6.Better fights
7.Luffy is way more heroic than Naruto
8.The plot is really intricate and complex : Eiichiro Oda really works hard.
9.Unpredictable
10.More Badasses in One Piece than in all other shounens combined
11. In one piece when our protagonists are in trouble ; THEY'RE IN TROUBLE ( Naruto is always consisting of the same ass pulls)
12.Flashbacks are relevant

Take one of the most recent fights in OP, Fujitora v Law v Dofy, only the beginning was shown but it got me waaay more excited than any Naruto fight except Naruto v Pain

Saw couple episodes, and I didn't like it, thought it was poop lol

First time I tried reading Lord Of The Rings I couldn't get past more than 10 pages of those Hobbits and I thought it wasn't that good ... I later actually read it (actually I read it about 7 times if not more ) and it is f?cking epic, I also saw why reading about those Hobbits was important

But I don't expect an average Naruto fan to be objective towards a series that most other ppl who actually read both of them deem as better than their (narutofans) favourite series

One piece is better then Naruto yes. It's about this guy Luffy who's searching for a legendary treasure and wants to become the pirate king. Everything about One piece is>Naruto. Fight scenes, characters, comedy etc.

One piece is a master piece and my favourite anime/manga of all times.

Come on, naruto's current war is better if you read the manga. Naruto characters are more powerful than OP characters, who's more of a threat, whitebeard or hashirama? blackbeard or madara? ace or itachi? dragon or nagato ?

Lsn, one piece n overall is better than naruto, but don't dare say naruto's battle are 2nd to OP's

Am not being a fanboy or anything.
I love naruto more than one piece, but I know OP is the best manga of all time,
but the battles in naruto or somethin else, the soundtracks, the actions, the deaths.
when it comes to battles, naruto is 2nd to none

1. WB because he was simply the strongest man alive (don't know how garp related to him but ...)
2. for now Madara
3. Ace, the entire Marineford war happened because of him and the entire world got thrown into chaos
4. dragon ... he's the most wanted man alive

Hi guys, I never watched One Piece before or read the manga.
Could someone tell me what is it about and if it's worth reading?
I normally just watch naruto. So are there any similarities compare to naruto?
Is the anime better then naruto's anime? Fillers?

Similarities to Naruto wld be Luffy is kind of dum(simple life situations) but genius on the relevant stuff(in battle and using his powers) just as Naruto is.

I never said he was stronger lol (even if he is lol ... so there you go now I said it ), I said he was a big threat from the World Governments point of view overall since a war broke out because of him
