Rasengan and chidori are equal. Though rasengan has a higher potential of getting stronger.

That 'Rasengan' was regular chakra.
Naruto's chakra = Sasuke's Raiton enhanced chakra.
Naruto's fuuton chakra > Sasuke's Raiton enhanced chakra.

Fuuton Rasengan > Chidori

Yeah, I agree there. I was just giving you an example of when Rasengan could have beaten Chidori if contact was made.

they both have pros and cons IMO:
-Chidori, you rush in blindly, without the Sharingan, you suffer from a tunnel vision effect and are prone to being countered by the enemy if you miss.
-Rasengan, the technique can hurt the user if it goes off without hitting the enemy, in naruto's case it requires the use of clones to help stabilize the technique.

OT: I think the Chidori is a more DEADLY technique, Chidori punches holes through your chest causing fatal amounts of damage any time it hits, Rasengan just unleashes large amounts of concentrated chakra generally subduing an enemy

Rasengan>Chidori. Chidori was born when Kakashi attempted to learn the Rasengan. The Chidori is made for piercing, where as the Rasengan is more powerful and for grinding into stuff. Plus we saw way back in part 1 that Rasengan is more powerful that Chidori on top of the hospital.

Well that's dumb Rasengan is dense spiraling chakra used for destruction, Chidori is piercing and cutting ofc Rasengan is gonna look stronger
