What does being from America have anything to do with it? All of Marvel was made in America lol. That's a very flawed way to think.
It's not a 'very flawed' way of thinking. A majority of proud Americans obsess over Captain America because he served the country and for what he represents.
'All of Marvel was made in America' that has nothing to do with anything, and that's
very flawed logic. I wish some people could debate rather than agree or disagree with baseless statements.
Stop saying AvX is irrelevant...both are very popular. People love the idea of 'forsaken mutants' vs 'superhuman former government employees/veterans'. Of course, being that this is america, the majority will favor the Avengers more. They're almost like polar opposites, one was shunned by america, while the other was praised by them. It's a very important concept, whether you agree or disagree.
X-men are like the rebels that fight for equality and peace, while the Avengers are more like the 'conformists' that get praised/brown-nosed by everyone. To add 'Thor' to the Avengers was like saying 'God is on our side, and he loves us more'.
Edit: AvX to me is like saying 'Who wins in the end, those that conform, or those who think for themselves?'' That's just how I see it.
There's a moral behind it all. Just like those pixar movies with subliminal messages.
