You can assume what you want, you know damn well Jaraiya lacks the feats to kill Itachi and Kisame. Than you proceed to say both of them are no match for Jman. If you want, just to counter the other manga argument you may bring up. Not that Itachi would even need Tsukiyomi.

Both Itachi and Kisame can defeat a unhosted Kurama in my opinion, so I agree with you.

Itachi has numerous ways to defeat Kurama which include Totsuka(Kyuubi can't dodge this), Amaterasu(Definitely can't dodge this) or controlling through the Sharingan and we all know how skilled of a Sharingan user Itachi is.
