Kishimoto might do something like that, seeing as how much of a troll he is. But hopefully he doesn't go down that path. It'll be very disappointing.

He can if you want , it doesn't care as He is juubi Jinchurki so he can not die from something like that... If the chakra/energy of Juubi can be converted to life energy of course, Because we know that Rinne Tensei requires Life energy of user.

So if the chakra/energy of Juubi can NOT be converted to life energy, then Obito will die
