Agreed. He used FTG slash on Izuna but we don't know if Izuna was marked or if he marked the sword he used. I honestly still don't even understand how that move works.


It's possible that Tobirama's FTG only works on things with chakra, I.E living people. Not saying that's the case but it's a possibility, all we know about Tobirama's FTG right now is that he can teleport to a marking he previously set.

You may be right.We'll just have to wait for future chapters to reveal his FTG limit.Because when he used FTG-Slash he tagged Izuna not the sword,because if he had tagged the sword that wouldn't have made any sence because he would have needed to thrown the sword at Izuna so he could FTG and then stab him,that's not plaussible.He needed to tag Izuna the FTG with the sword and stab him in the proces.

It was stated by your ''beloved'' Minato that if his chakra and the object are touching through physical contact, he can FTG them. It's not a surprise that Tobirama can do it too with his Suiton. It's like Minato's chakra cloak. If you used logic, maybe you would've understood from the start.

Minatos FTG Advantages

Minato can teleport anything that has his chakra network touching,while Tobirama has to actually physically touch them

Also the use of Kunai is more versatile

He has FTG V2 in which he can teleport to moving targets,Tobirama cannot.

Minato can also combine his FTG with Space time Barrier..

FTG+Space Time Barrier+Rasengan=GG Tobirama

So as I understand it, Minato can place his mark on practically anything and anywhere he wishes as long the it is a solid surface that keeps the mark together.


And Tobirama can only teleport from one person to another..............



If that's all there is to it then I have to say, that is a very big difference. Minato's version is a lot more advanced.



Plus, it's not the technique itself, it's how you use it.
