Even after Hiruzen had sealed parts of his soul away, fought for quite some time, diminished his chakra greatly with shadow clones, disarmed Orochimaru sword in close combat easily, and had the speed to sneak up in front of him and while having the sword of Kusangi pierced through him, he was still able to hold Orochimaru's soul with the Reaper for an 1 hour long.

He was also the one to actually frighten Orochimaru a bit and was the only one to actually damage him successfully while an Orochimaru with no arms played around with a 4 Tailed Naruto.]
I remember reading a few threads about Tobirama being called fodder but the power of 1 chapter changed that all and people started riding him. Believe me when Hiruzen does get his panel time, people WILL start riding HIM even if you don't believe me!

Why do you care so much about rep? I feel as if neg rep gets the message across faster and more decisively, that's what it's there for and why I used it. I simply told them what happened, I didn't know they neg rep'd you. If you did do that, that's a douche move.

Hiruzen was getting toyed with, Orochimaru is appreciative to people who entertain him.Hiruzen didn't reach his standers so he simply allowed his insubstantial edo versions of the Hokage's which led him losing his arms.Orochimaru wasn't going all out while Hiruzen was getting flung around like a rag dole, fundamentally Hiruzen was lucky throughout the whole fight if Orochiamru chose to take action then Hiruzen would've died.He isn't underrated he's simply lacking Part 2 feats as well as meeting people's expectations.

why shouldnt he be underrated? at least tobirama is proving why he was considered a bad@$$. all hiruzen did was use shuriken again then get owned by obito. seriously, what exactly makes him important?
