Bio: Umari was born on Jodo Island. He and his father Yugaro Kotetsu, frequent Tokyo Japan often where Umari goes to school, plays videogames, and enjoys the company of his friends. He does however, keep the fact that he and his father are mutants to himself as he fears it will draw too much attention from the Dark Brotherhood who are actively looking for his father.

Yugaro was part of the A-Z Project. Though little is known about the A-Z Project, Yugaro was taken from his home at the age of 5 and by 13 he was able to grow and manipulate earth and plant life. When he became a Symbiote Host, His abilities increased 100 fold. Yugaro became unstable and the entire facility was overrun with rapidly growing forestation. Yugaro and several other A-Z Project experiments escaped that night. Yugaro Fled to a small uninhabited island to the east of Japan where his power continued to rage for 3 days. When Yugaro awoke the entire area was covered in forest. Over the years Yugaro learned to control his power with the help of a traveling monk who took pity on him during his travels. Yugaro created a monestary and continued to expand the forest. He named the Island Jodo Island. He now has a son of 13 and is the Leader of the Jodo Monks. He maintains a low profile and has remained unseen by the Dark Brotherhood.

(Umari wonders the streets of Tokyo with his two friends Nayuri and Toshiro. They play video games on the large screen at the mall, then grab a bite to eat in the food district. As the 3 enjoy the typical teenaged afternoon life, the afternoon is interrupted by the presence of Dark Brotherhood agents roaming the streets.)

Nayuri: I wonder whats going on?

Toshiro: I don't know but I wish they would leave. They make me...nervous.
