Can you get the rinnegan from a pain body

I'm pretty sure I know the awnser to this bit just to clarify if one of the paths if pain is killed, the body still displays the rinnegan so does that mean that you can take it? Will it just give you the power of that specific pain? Or does it only work because nagato was projecting his chakra through it.

Something like this. It's probably a camera likely connection. If you would pull out the eye then the connection would break and the eye would become normal again.

this is a really nice question, I personally think that the rinnegan eyes may be taken from the body but it will lose its powers.

It was never really explained or dived into. But its very safe to assume that the eyes in the other bodies of pain/jinchuriki are just projections/jutsu replication and cannot be taken. Only the originals can be. If it were really as simple as copy and pasting Rinnegan eyes into bodies, then having a Rinnegan wouldn't be so surprising and god-like when people saw Nagato/Madara/Obito with it.

Nope, it only assume the look of a rinnegan when a rinnegan user is controlling the corpses. However they are merely regular eyes from the corpses.

It's the same thing Obito did with the edo jinchuuriki IIRC, isn't it?
The user can somehow project its eyes probably thanks to the chakra rods, the eyes are not actually real.
