This is where Nagato comes in with his Rinnegan. Hashirama's wood mastery with Nagato's rinnegan would be enough to distract Madara while Itachi activates Izanami and locks him in an endless loop. Madara is top tier but beating Hashirama+Nagato+Itachi? No chance.

Can Nagato and Hashirama effectively distract Madara? Yes, but I am under the assumption that now that Itachi has lost one of his Mangekyō, he is unable to use Susano'ō. This means that the Totsuka and Kagami no Yata are gone so Itachi's Susano'ō, since it no longer exists, cannot help the trio defeat Madara. Hashirama, Nagato, Itachi: None of these three has shown fuinjutsu that can defeat Madara. Madara, could hold up his Perfect Susano'ō indefinetly, and the Perfect Susano'ō has yet to be shown, destroyed.
