So did you go to prom? How was it?

I went to prom on June 21st. Well guess what I got my prom suit the day before prom. I got a black and gold prom suit and at the store my mom was staying it was VERY UGLY. I liked it but you know you don't wanna go to prom with a ugly prom suit especially since I'm in middle school and the teens could be VERY MEAN. So I asked my dad to go to another store so I could go to another store to see if a can but a better one but instead he brought it because it was cheap. I was crying because since my mom thought it was ugly I thought I was gonna be made fun of so as I thought my suit was terrible to be continued next in a few more minutes

The first hour and a half were great! A lotta grinding, dancing, cool music. But the next two hours dragged on, I got sweaty, my vest was too tight...

But I stole shit from the Casino/Hotel bathroom, so that's a plus!

So that same day I didn't have a prom date. First I really didn't care then my dad's friends were like it's prom you need a date and there's no point in going if you don't have a date. So yeah that made me feel kinda sad because #1 I'm scared of being rejected and #2 I thought that I wasn't good enough to ask a girl. I wanted to ask one of my best friend to prom but she wasn't going, I wanted to ask another one of my best friend but she was mad cause she thought I spread a rumour saying that we were going to prom together, I wanted to ask one of my friend but I thought she would've said no, and I wanted to ask one of my close friend because she was fun to hang out with. So my friend helped me and I asked the girl I will have most fun with and she said yes. Like the fool I am I jumped up and screamed YES in the cafeteria while everyone wad looking at me. .So said she was wearing gold and black yeah first story. So it's the day of prom Ian's I went to school. My mom said I didn't have to go but I decided to go because if I stayed home I would be worrying about my suit. So I went to school and I called my date and asked her how we were going to get to prom. At the time she was betting her weave done so yeah she didn't come to school and most of the girls and boys were out. So she said we'll take my dad's car and I didn't want that because I didn't tell my parent's I has a date and they would of got mad for not telling them. Even worst she said we would take a taxi. So I lied to my parent's telling them that a bus was gonna take me to prom but actually I'll go to her house with a Taxi. I was still worried about the plan so I keep on calling her until she said why the f*cm are you calling me again I'm betting my weave done so I quickly hanged up. Plus she expecting me to buy her a corsair and I didn't know where to buy one. I didn't know where her house was so we agreed to meet after school so she could show me where her house is to be continued

So after school I put on regular clothes and then waited outside to meet her. She told me the directions to go meet her and then i always went the wrong way. She told be to go north and go south and she told me to go east and I go west. Hey I'm a special kid who don't know my directions. So she got mad at telling me the direction to go to her house and gave the phone to her mom. You know when she gives the phone to her mom THAT'S a bad sign. So she told me NOT to go by Burger King guess what I went by Burger King
It past like a whole hour already and her house was two blocks away from my school. Plus I needed to get home since I'm suppose to be on the bus, fretting ready for prom. I still couldn't find her house and her mom got passed off and said oh my God what's wrong with this boy. I was all like you know what f this. Her mom got mad up to the point she just told me to stay where I am like a baby. Yes her mom finally found me but I has to walk to her house and not take her house there. I told her I'm sorry for wasting her time but she didn't acknowledge me so yea bad impression. Yes finally I found her house and she told me her mother and cousins are gonna ask me a LOT of questions but I ain't got no time for that I needed to get home cause prom prom was in 2 more hours. So I'm on the bus then my mom told me to get a hair cut and don't go straight home. So I went to the barber. And guess what I'll felt all handsome and confident but then I forgot I had to buy a corsair. I was all like NOOOOOOO. Then I went to some cupcake place LOL hoping they'll have the corsair but I asked the lady where to buy one and she said there was a place to buy one 2 blocks after. So they was a relief. So I found it and knocked on the door. NO RESPONSE. I banged on the door as loud as a can but still no answer. I felt like crying since prom was in 1 more hour and I didn't buy her a corsair. Plus it was raining too all like in the movies. But I didn't give up. I looked for a corsair store and I found one. There was an old lady and I asked her if she had any corsair. She said no because she just got out of an argument with a lady and she demanded that she'll get her flower and she couldn't make me one right away. So there's 30 minutes before prom and I gave up . I went straight home. Waiting for me was my mom since I came home SO late and I told her everything that happened. Except the corsair and I called my date a friend. So what was waiting for me also was my ugly suit. To be continued

I put on my suit and instead of putting on my bow tie I put on my tie. My suit looked WAY better than in a tie than a bow tie
So I went downstairs and my mom said I looked handsome. So it's 10 minutes before prom and I'm suppose to pick up my date. And my dad was supposed to drop me off at my school. So we were 20 minutes late picking her up. So I got to her house and I told my dad to leave but he didn't. So get ccousins invited me her house. It's a good thing because my date wasn't ready yet. Her cousin was GHETTO in the fun cool way. She asked me if I put gel on my hair and I said no since it was late and I didn't want to be anymore later. She asked me if I had cologne and I said no. Shocking I'm going to prom and I had no cologne on. Luckily she gave me some. So my date came downstairs and she looked beautiful. I started blushing and everything because she looked nice for me and I didn't even get her a corsair. Her cousins took pictures of us and I was being as polite and mix of funny as possible. So we left the house to go in the taxi and I STILL SEE MY DAD OUTSIDE . I tried to ignore him but he was taking pictures. So I opened the car door for her and she went in and I went on the other side.

We could of taken a limo with our friends but she didn't like one of the girls in the limo so yeah. To be continued

So in the taxi she offered to pay for the taxi and I said I would pay. We were 20 minutes late for prom. I was like yeah no worries no one is ever early anyways but then the taxi driver stopped because he ain't had no gas. He wanted me to pay for his gas and I was like what the. But then he started to beg an beg so then I gave in. Guess what the reason why he lost gas all along because he didn't know where he was going. I didn't know how to explain the directions to him any clearer since I was bad at directions myself so my prom date called her MOM and explained the directions. Haha um I guess she's still mad. So for the rest of the ride it was all fun and games

In the end it was worth the trouble. Everyone in prom well the boys had a left eating fake but I didn't know that was the style for prom

Lesson: Ask a girl to prom early (I waited till the day before cause you know they are disperse.

Boys get that corsair and order it early don't wanna be like me.

I was supposed to until my date's mother decided to not let her go because she's strict as hell and wouldn't buy a dress for her. I offered to pay for the dress myself but my date felt too guilty to let me proceed with it.

So we went to the movies and hung out. Then I went chiefing with my friends and afterwards to a hookah bar.

Glad I didn't go to my high school prom, from what my friends told me prom night was dead, the renovated place was too small and there was way too much supervision.

Well in Australia, the year 11's have a thing called the deb/debutante ball/presentation ball. For us, it happened in April and it was great! But what I loved most about it was the deb after party
