It's never too late, I'm catching up on OP now. You should start from the beginning IMO, it's a long buildup but its worth it.

Why would you watch a series from the middle?
Wouldn't that unlink the whole point of watching it in the first place?

It's not too late, I just started watching One Piece 2 and a half months ago and I'm in episode 105+ so far (Arabasta Arc).
You're not the only one watching this at such a late time.

You have to start from the beginning, every episode is crucial.

When you'll reach the last episode of the week, you'll even wish that there were more episodes out already xD

Tried watching it on Toonami it's bad in my opinion sorry guys Ace and Hanks seem like interesting characters and Zoro after the time skip but the beginning is too dull for me

EDIT- For those of you who do watch it is Toonami the reason why it seems so bad to me or what? Cause I do want to watch a new anime but idk

I started reading the manga a week ago. There's a long way till I catch up, and then I have to watch the anime for a few good arcs and to a place where Ill be up to date. but Id say its worth it Lol

Well I never started from the beginning and im probably more knowledgeable than most who have spent hours watching the entire series (mainly cos I have no life :|)

My friend started it from the beginning and is thinking of skipping straight to the war arc.
I started from Saboady Archipelago.

If anyone is interested in starting from here (which I recommend) here are the links for where they start in the anime and manga ^_^ from here if you keep watching you eventually pick up on stuff. Then once you have caught up go back and read a few arcs if you have the time. Most you could skip and just read about on a wiki or something. People will say it doesn't have the same effect but this is the quickest way.

You apparently do, since you took the time out to open, read, and comment on a One Piece Thread.
@OP: If you want to watch One Piece, I recommend you start from the beginning. The opening events always seem to be of relevance to the story in future episodes.
Time it takes to: Open, read, and comment on a One Piece Thread - Approximately 1-3 minutes

Time it takes to: Watch the whole One Piece series (let's say each episode is 20 minutes, excluding the openings and endings) - 20 x 606 (so far) = 12120 minutes ÷ 60 = 202 hours

So basically, ain't nobody got time fo' dat.

Don't listen to this guy. If you want to enjoy One Piece, you have got to enjoy it to the fullest, from the start.
