Sasuke did get a slight powerup, considering he can dual wield his own elemental swords, but comparing to fodder Naruto's next coming powerup from Minato, it is barely anything.

It should be noted that on that page, Madara actually swings the sword to destroy the two meteors in front of the Susanoo. The remaining shockwave is what sliced those mountains.

It's still not out of the realm of possibility that Kishi will give the other half of Kurama to Sasuke.

I had that same feeling... but that would ruin the manga.. Remember Sasuke hates the tail beasts and he wants to get rid of them so if Kishi does that then it would make no sense.
However, I do believe that Sasuke have a couple of powerups that he have not shown.. Naruto was about to go BM and he ask Sasuke if he can keep up and Sasuke basically laughed at Naruto.. Just on this basis I believe Sasuke is waiting to show off his new EMS Powers..

PS isn't enough to match current Naruto nor is Rinnegan. So even together they're not working on a Naruto that can be speculated as being twice as strong as he is now
