Kishi didn't plan for it to be this way since the start. He just goes along and writes it in later. Hence so many plothole involving Obito. Terribly written. Why didn't Minato recognize Obito? Mask, fully grown despite being 14, suppose to be dead and phased without MS, and etc. Terrible character ever since the reveal. Should have been somebody else. Kishi can't write his way out of this absurd plothole. When you got fans writing theories for why the plothole isn't a plothole, you failed.
