Please get it in your Heads Sasuke is not a Sage so He can't use Sage Mode tech,2 Itachi removed Orochimaru Curse from Sasuke. Accept this.

I don't think you even read the OP.

Kirin is not a sage lightning technique, its a nature energy technique which harnesses 100% raw real natural lightning.

Kirin is a natural lightning technique produced when Sasuke heats the atmosphere to the point where thunder clouds are created. He can do that with Enton or any of his othis other Katon techniques.

No, Kirin requires a massive amount of set up which takes time and chakra. And do you think Obito will sit still and let them do that, plus they really have only one shot with it, so if it doesn't finish him they are screwed, Obito can still dodge and use his powers to deflect it.

Naruto landed a blow because he caught Obito off guard.

Kirin isn't a strategically sound jutsu to use, it would waste precious time instead of just creating openings and letting Naruto or Hashi blast him.

And that is assuming that Kirin is a natural chakra jutsu which I also doubt.

Nature energy comes from....well nature.

It's specifically mentioned by Black Zetsu that Kirin is natural lightning itself, it isn't lightning created as a result of chakra manipulation. It's the lightning of nature itself.

Regarding your first point...

While Kirin would take a decent amount of setup time, this time Sasuke has Enton to potentially speed up the process. Black Zetsu states that Sasuke took advantage of Itachi's Amaterasu to help him heat up the atmosphere. What's interesting about this is that Itachi's Amaterasu was on the ground...

What would happen if Sasuke used Amaterasu and Enton directly at the sky? The process of creating Kirin could be significantly quicker.

Also this battle has been all about strategy, I'm sure they could come up with a strategy to effectively use Kirin.

ok ill say this, i dont think so because kirin takes a while to set up, and is inefficient because its only a 1 strike and done move... or he could die before he gets a chance.

Or they could just create openings and use Naruto in Sage Mode who can attack multiple times, then they don't have to spend chakra and time on one Jutsu which might not even work.

That's too much time and chakra for just one attack.

I doubt it will do anything. If it can't harm Itachi's Susano'o, what will it do to Obito?

narutos sage mode rasengan did nothing to madaras incomplete susanno either but its taking obito down. this isnt dbz i thought people would realize that by now. sasuke utilizes lightning from the sky and in the manga he said its not simple ninjutsu.

Very true.

Kirin also hasn't been used in 250 chapters (5+ years), it's due for a comeback.

it's shaped and executed through his regular chakra, he doesn't control lightning with his mind lol..

it's no different than using certain earth techniques with the ground as its source

why are you making such a big deal of this theory even as to putting it in your sig l0l

Upon further inspection, I concur with this theory.

It's was only said by Black Zetsu that Sasuke used his chakra to control/direct the lightning.

Kirin is pure nature energy (lightning is an energy of nature), this much can be said. As Sasuke said "the power source of this jutsu comes from heaven itself".

The ground itself is matter, not energy... Besides, Juubito was never going to absorb the earth..

For now, what we know is that Senjutsu is apparently effective. It didn't say anything about techniques that somewhow involve natural elements.

The difference between Ninjutsu and Senjutsu is the natural energy component. Senjutsu is effective because it contains natural energy. Kirin is natural energy.

Upon further inspection, I concur with this theory.
Thanks!
