s/t barrier/ftg can pretty much warp anything, as long as enough chakra is available. water techs are ninjutsu and can therefore be teleported.

Considering that Minato described the requirements for FTG as touching something with his body or chakra. He gave no other limitations, so there's not reason to believe that it's impossible to teleport water style. It has the user's chakra inside of the water to control it's shape. This means that Minato can connect his chakra to the water's and use that link to teleport it.

Also, Tobirama teleported Obito's orb. It was described by Hiruzen to be a liquid. Many make the argument that Tobirama teleported it when it was a solid state, but think about it. Whenever it's shown, it's almost always solid looking. Yet Hiruzen stated that it was a liquid.

Conclusion: Obito's orbs are liquids that form shapes like water style does.
