Is a Naruto vs Kyuubi fight in the offing?

The idea on which Naruto was first started is the concept of the kyuubi being sealed in Naruto(The Naruto-Sasuke rivalry was brought on much later). So I always thought that there would be an epic Naruto vs fox battle(mental or physical). But the kyuubi becoming good so easily was sort of a dampener. Finally, in today's last page(atleast in the mangapanda version), Kishi foreshadows that maybe the other half is still evil.

This is even more better for the Naruto vs Kyuubi fight coz now Naruto also has SOME of the kyuubi's power and they'll be on equal terms. If this does happen, Kishi's an even bigger genius than I thought and Naruto would become my favorite manga(currently its Death Note)

not the actual what? lol he has the physical beast. what do you think was happening in his fight vs pain? kurama was coming. the yin kurama minato has, doesn't seem to be "evil" as he was sort of praising naruto when talking to minato.

The thing is in that fight, Kurama's hatred was still intact and later on, it was won over a little too easily

No i don't see him fighting for control...that already happened and he won. I do however see naruto getting the yin half of kurama and beating the shit out of obito but that might take awhile. With the hokage suddenly mortal again and no long invincible i see minato leaving and giving naruto the other half. This manga is called naruto for a reason, and he will defeat obito not the past hokage but naruto, as the saviour child of prophecy, hero, main character..etc.

Yin Kurama isn't evil, it actually sounds like he complimented him not the other way around. I don't see any more chakra tug of war i seriously hope not that was already decided. I hope Madara's trump card isn't something to do with kurama and controlling it or some bull shit. Minato should just give it to him already but i bet that won't happen until sasuke gets a power up.

I don't think he still is evil, the kurama part in minato is also not locked up in a cage, he seems to be coperating with minato just as kurama inside naruto is.
also minato having his own biju mode is sort of proof that they already fought it out.
don't forget, minato and his kurama were sealed inside the shiki fujin for over 16 years, and it is said that they are locked in an ever lasting battle, I'm guessing they fought it out there, and minato won
