If Senjutsu is effective against Obito does this mean....

This thought occurred to me this morning as well. It is possible that Kishimoto will go down this path, but I'm not so sure. I don't know if it has the same mechanics as Senjutsu, or it is just natural lightning and nothing more.

Doesn't matter, Kishi very clearly stated it was Senjutsu only this chapter and we only know 4 characters who have even used Senjutsu. Jiraiya, Naruto, Hashirama and Kabuto. Sasuke didn't learn senjutsu.

Actually its stated that ninjutsu doesn't work, so their only option is senjutsu.

Besides, it was said that Senjutsu can damage Obito. It never said (like some people in this thread claim), that senjutsu is the only thing that can damage Obito.

As i said here :

Senjutsu =Natural energy + Physical energy + Spiritual energy.
Normal chakra= Physical energy + Spiritual energy.
Kirin = Natural energy + a tiny little bit of Ninjutsu for shaping it into a dragon

We can conclude that Kirin is some sort of Senjutsu because it have both Natural energy and normal chakra in it just like
Senjutsu.

Yes, i read the other 10 times....and it's a nature based Ninjutsu.
Senjutsu it's a mix of chakras, gathered, mixed and balanced... not only Natural Chakra.

If this about Kirin was correct, we can assume that every element based justu uses Natural chakra(in greater or less portion), so every Ninjutsu have a portion of Natural Energy and is "some kind" of Senjutsu, and should work on Juubito.
We know that it's not like that.

no one ever said kirin was senjutsu... its just not nin jutsu.... sasuke could probably cut him with his sword and it would probably do some damage. the reason why ninjutsu doesnt work is because 1 the sage of 6 paths has techniques that absord ninjutsu, and 2 he has techniques that destroy ninjutsu as tobirama said wich is why nagato has yet to regenerate his arm...

I was going to make a thread on this. Kirin used real lightning. Jutsu only directs it. It could work like a physical attack

Kirin is a lightning based Ninjutsu not a Senjutsu. Even if the clouds are natural it needs Sasukes Chidori to activate and then it become Ninjutsu.

However, unlike Chidori the Lightning isn't created from chakra. It is real lightning just being directed at someone
