[Suggestion] Kumi - The Narutobase Currency System

I don't know if it will come back but if it does, it will not serve to buy anything you currently have free access too or have to gain permission or access to (like a special bio or element for example) and if it actually does come back, in any form or factor, it will be likely linked to the NW or something of the sort, to give it a purpose other than simply having a currency which, beyond RP, barely has use.

Still, this is all theoretical talk as its return is in the hands of the admins. On a perosnal note, I don't agree with its returning mainly because it will complicate something which is already complex and somewhat currently needing a "simplification" which is the RP as a whole, mainly NW. Dunno, for all reasons it might be cool as a mod i can find a bunch of them that oppose its introduction. For one, if we have so many reputation abuse problems, and that really doesn't earn you anything, we all know that a currency system will be a mess to keep active AND fair AND free of cheating. Dunno tbh. Mixed feelings about this one. I'll forward it to Caliburn and the admins.

Don't just use it for the RP system. Start a market where members of the whole community can buy certain permissions, like coloured user titles, an extra line for their signature, larger PM space etc.

Well, I guess Kumi will be sent into oblivion then. It's understandable, on a community this big, and with all the alt accounts members have, the abuse of the system would be immense.

I can't imagine it returning to the RP system, since all members would have access to it whether they RP'ed or not, meaning members could simply donate Kumi to 'RP'ing' accounts, unless RP mods or admins were the only ones given forum permission to be able to donate Kumi. So it already seems broken. If it ever gets introduced to the RP, it would most likely not be in the form of a plugin, but text-based, which is extremely hard to monitor with the amount of members in the community.

The idea isnt bad but I doubt it would ever work in this community or ever even get implemented, this is a quickwain to gain power rp wise buton the upside reduces spam alot and stops the ass kissing, hope it all works out tho.

Now, I like the addition of that as well. I think that would work great for all members if something like this were added as well to the pool of things that Kumi could be used for. It would just be a matter of the mods and admins looking over it and hopefully organizing a system where this could actually work.

The only thing I would add is GFX-ing. Like avatars and signatures. It takes me time to make an avatar(that I give free for take) and only few people actualy know how to say thank you... This is a great idea.

tbh quite a few people did that when kumi was around... so that'd be natural.

Just repeating what an admin said last time this was suggested- kumi can not be implemented because the plug-in was old, buggy and not compatible with our new and updated version of vB. So it is highly unlikely that it will be brought back at this current time.
