Hard to say considering Kishimoto contradicts himself in that area, in that Pain fight people were saying left in right in the manga that he had surpassed Minato and Jiraiya, and he was shown using rasengan multiple times without clones during it, no idea at this point I just think todays chapter was bad ass Naruto finally showing off in front of Sasuke

Well he did learn advanced chakra manipulation thru out this war, so after he made a mini tailed beast bomb with no clones or chakra arms, I figure he could probally made a rasengan with not arms now.

Actually no ..... we cldnt see what Naruto was doing in the dark untill he struck ....... Naruto requires the same level of control in SM as in Base ...

It's because he's become one of the best (if not the best) in chakra control. The main reason he sucked at it before was Kurama and since they became friends, his chakra control became this good without Kurama's interference.
