So people's main evidence that he didn't is that one page

I call that BS. Those same people ignore Obito's next words

You must be registered for see images

Read carefully

>The Rin who died is a fake
>Rin is only Rin if she lives
>This fake world

Instead of mourning her and maybe try to make things better, you know what normal people do, and ironically enough (when he just said "This world is fake") he wants to create an illusion world where he can live with his (fake) living Rin.

His love for her and her death made him realize this world is fake so what next ? Let's all live happily ever after in a lie.

Deal with it bros, he's got some badass moves and feats but he's delusional.

Obito is just an overpowered emo.

The page YOU posted literally shows Obito saying the Shinobi World's current state made him lose hope and that's why he views it as a fake world.

How so my good Sir ?

-It's his love for her and her death that made him realize that

Love+Death --> This World is fake

She's the cause, in his mind. The trigger

Rin isn't the reason why he started the war, but she is the inspiration.

Someone doesn't get how having an opinion works...

Your OP made it sound like you were saying Rin was the sole reason for his actions.

Obito did do this because of Rin... No one can deny that lol. If she didn't die he wouldn't hate the shinobi world and want to make a new one. He's power tripping.

Obito : Shes got me up all night, constant plotting and love songs.

This^

Its you that ignored Obito's words in that second panel and instead cherry picked only the first bit about Rin.

Just read it. It didn't change my mind.

He did it for Rin. Of course he wants to change the system so that things like that won't happen ever again.
But in the end, he did it for Rin. His love and her death made him realize how bad the system is.

She's THE cause, whether you accept it or not.

Did you hear the dude ? The Rin who died is a fake Rin.. Obito is not the altruistic messiah yo want him to be. His primal wish is to see Rin live again.

I'd understand if he wanted total control and make the actual system better but that unfortunately, that still would mean Rin is dead. He wants to change what he perceives as fake world with what ? An even "faker" world. A lie.

Yes Obito did it for Rin. If she never died, Obito would not be doing this if someone other than her died.

My OP made it sound like she was the trigger to all this. What you people deny. What if she hadn't died. Would he have still perceive this world as fake ? How many people died before Rin ? They lived at a time of war. She's the trigger. And you can't deny he wants to live with her in his dream world

So I'll say it again... What made him realize this world is fake ? What's the root of this realization ?

I fully agree that she's the trigger. Rin's death darkened his view, which caused him to see the world as flawed. He wants to fix the world AND get back Rin.

What was the big weirdass Obito/juubi thing saying in one of the recent chapters saying? "RIN"

Rin is a big part of why Obito is doing what he is. The shinobi world is also to blame, since it was because of it Rin died. The memory of Rin was what gave Obito the power to get the Juubi at least partially under control.
