How will the Konoha handle the baby boom?

After this major war there will likely be a big baby boom in Konoha and within about 60 years they will have a healthcare crisis. Will they need to raise taxes to ensure health care for everyone? What if their economy is not doing so well after the war bonds they likely had to issue to the other nations? How will the middle class react? Or will those without private insurances have to suffer and be left without healthcare? Should they summon Edo Tensei Tobirama to deal with it?

I feel bad for Ichiraku's descendants, that poor Ramen shop will likely be torn down and a Konoha Walmart will take over its place.

Its a legitimate question. It could threaten the stability of the government's federal reserves but at the same time taking away healthcare from the elderly would damage the reputation of the Hokage. It could start a civil war and there might need to be a 'Uchiha Massacre' kinda thing again. Sai would probably be in charge of it lmfao. This would restart the cycle of hatred and bring war to the shinobi world again

I don't think any of the hokages were good enough to establish a health care system. Tobirama would have tried, but probably got it revoked for denying Uchihas or some shit.

There won't be a baby boom since most of them died. They will try to pick up the population maybe; it would only be a problem if they keep the policies for effective reproduction when the population gets stabilized again.

They might raise the taxes to keep things better after the war; and the working class would take the shot here. Lets hope Teuchi would be fine since he deserves it for soloing the sage at his prime. Government should not get into overall commerces to gain money for the village so private sector will be able to survive and competition in business world should be kept in order to make wheels of economy keep spinning.

Or they can just choose communism. Well we know how that ended...

Itachi and Kabuto's Generation is, for the most part non-existent. This leaves Naruto's Generation, which is Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Shikamaru, Chōji, Ino, Rokkū Ri, Neji, Tenten, Shino, Kiba, Gaara, Temari and Kankūro as well as Sugitetsu, Karin, Jūgo. Sasuke, Chōji, Shino, Kankūro and Gaara all seem to have no interest in anybody. Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru, Ino, Rokkū Ri, Tenten, Hinata and Kiba do.. This equates to Four Partnership. Subsequent to the creation of Konoha, the general number of children each group of parents had were only one or two. Ok, I had more time to think about it after discussing it with my friends. What if the increase in taxes forces the big businesses of konoha to cut costs on labor, thus increasing the unemployment rate? What if the big konoha industries start outsourcing jobs to the Mist village who are willing to work for pennies on a dollar? What if due to the drop in employment and hence lack of tax paying Konoha citizens, as well as an increasing elderly population from the baby boom, the Hokage is forced to take out more and more loans from other nations? Will Konoha eventually have its entire economy owned by the Village of Sand soon, the way America is pretty much owned by China?

There aren't much "big industries" in Konoha; therefore there would not be unemployment risks at big scales. Also there is dat "Will of Fire"; so people would not betray workers from their own hometown anyway.

Sand is in its own deep shit they are not owning anybody's economy. They are bunch of noobs who tricked by a pedophile to attack a village which is out of their league. Also databook stated they got the worst economy, population and military. They needed to call 2 teams from Konoha to save their own kage. those 2 teams could own their village back then it must suck for them.

What can they do for their economy? Tourism? Nobody wants sandburn. Farming? Don't make me laugh. Their best chance is finding finding petroleum in dat desert cuz that's want goes on there. Even at such point Cloud would be there to **** things up. They are sneaky. Or Konoha being allies would act smart and start getting some of dat oil. They can say "we saved your kage 3 years ago" and want them to pay the debt. Then Konoha's healtcare system and overall economy would be safe for years.

I think you are onto something. The Hokage could say that Orochimaru built powerful weapons labs in the deserts outside of Sand Village during the Sand/Sound alliance, and use that to gain sanctions from the other Kages to send their shinobis into Sand as a precautionary measure. This would help them gain a strategic vantage point against the Sand village from which they could secure oil at will and not allow them to control costs at their own discretion.

They can also implement regime changes in the villages around Sand Village in the name of freedom and form long lasting allies, they can use this as an excuse to remain in the area after they fail to find Orochimaru's weapons there. But this would require Konoha to leave their shinobis in that area for an extended period and lose many lives and would cost a fortune to undertake. This might harbor bad sentiment among its citizens...
