Naruto's Sage mode has lost its use.

Sage mode is a very powerful ability. But it looks like Naruto no longer needs it. At first I thought he would still need it for chakra sensing but with BM naruto has been confirmed to sense chakra from long distances. As shown when he sensed the hokages. Sage mode is only needed if naruto runs out of kurama chakra or when fighting preta path. But other than that sage mode has been regulated to a 3rd grade form. It's a shame cause it was my favourite form as well.

I liked it , but after his fight with pain, many new strong characters have been introduced. So to keep up he had to upgrade.

Sage mode could still be used though, it would be impractical to go BM if you just want to sense chakra/ track enemies

Naruto mastered Sage Mode, one of the best feats a ninja can ever have, but Kishi wants him to improve more so he made him use and master KCM and deprived the usefulness of Sage Mode.

Basically, chakra sensing in SM is so acute, that it gives its user ability comparable to Sharingans movement prediction. Thanks to that Naruto dodged and hit 3rd Raikage - someone who was faster than him. Thanks to that Kabuto was able to evade Sasukes Susanoo arrow. In comparison Kakashi (with Sharingan) had to use Kamui, since he couldnt evade in any other way, arrow was just too fast.

Sage mode isn't going anywhere.
Naruto was getting ready to be Kurama's BFF anyways.

Naruto has ben using both in the war Arc or have you miss some episodes? Naruto Clone in Sage Mode defeated the 3rd Raikage. Naruto in BM and His Clone in SM took out all the chakra rods from the Tail Beast. Go back and read the Mangas you miss. He ben using both Modes He even use Sage Mode to measure how much Natural Energy the Juubi has and Kurama told Him to stop you can't measure whats unmeasurable.

I think his sage mode could be an extension to his tailed beast form. If he was able to absorb and emit natural energy, combine that with kurama's power which already emits life force (as seen when he made yamato's wood release techniques blossom). I think we could have one overpowered Naruto lol
