naruto anime????

what will happen to the naruto anime when naruto manga is finished????will the fillers end and straight canon???? give me your thoughts

I'm guessing it might be stretched through fillers, not much... just 10-20 episodes and then finish with canon material. I certainly hope they're not going to pull a Naruto on us and add 80 fillers or so. Can't believe I watched all of them hoping for canon material xD

At the time I watched it, I didn't even know it was filler. I DIDN'T KNOW! That was a lot of time out of my life that I just wasted...

OT: I don't think they'll do filler episodes, but they will probably add many filler scenes in the upcoming fights to stretch out the show a little more. But since it's in fights, it's not that big of a deal, unless they do something that doesn't make sense according to the manga.

I am assuming you meant to quote the exclamatory statement in bold as if someone other than yourself were declaring that.

I agree to some extent. However, a good story is best exemplified by use of a very well thought-out and beautifully constructed ending. We have to reach the end at some point.
Although, I don't mind if they prolong the series through the inclusion of good fillers that add to canon in a meaningful way. Episodes like "Shino Laughs: Episode 186" from Part One are just a waste of time, both for the viewers and the producers. The recent Chiyo/Sasori filler was fairly well done, because it includes canon characters (most filler-only characters are just annoying, with ones like Guren being an exception) and the elaboration upon their interesting back-stories.

Yea, I didn't know they were fillers either, same with the Sora arc and Sanbi arc in Shippuden (which were both pretty decent btw).

They'll finish up with whatever filler episodes they have and then move on to cannon permanently. They'll extend on the manga, but usually that's well done, so I don't mind.
