some are simply clinging to naruto as their favorite series and want it to be the best in every way (making ridiculous claims along the way).
they can't simply like both shows for what they are.

DBZ is my all time favorite (since i was a kid) and the power scales are seriously different (massive gap).

the way i see it :

DBZ = a classic hero's story/sick fights/EXTREMELY strong characters (gods if they existed in NV).

naruto = great story about achieving peace (the hero is the cause of that)/the characters have depth (really good characterization)/also has great fights/a normal power scale (no planet blowing here) nothing special compared to other anime's.

they are different but naruto's power scale is not even in the top 20 ......... hell even in a top 50 of anime's power scales. but again it's not just about power.

btw that majin vegeta's suicidal attack is not the biggest in size (DBZ showed way way larger attacks than that) but it is extremely powerful .

Yeah but then I can go ahead telling that Sage of Six paths could create an stronger energy. It was stated by manga self that Rikudou Sennin used the power from Juubi (Sage of Six Paths) Yin and Yang chakra to create everything based from nothing.

Chakra is energy, with means that his energy was enabled to create anything. And so far as I know there is only one creature in DBZ that can do the same and that is the dragon thingy.
