Will Rock Lee ever actually hit the Lotus on someone?

Tried it on Dosu - Stopped by Zaku
Tried it on Gaara - Sand Bunshin
Tried it on Kimimaro - Bone defense

Its too bad this move will never land on anyone, it will immediately crush their brains.

Well; first two of them got saved by others; so technically they did not counter by themselves...

Many moves in Naruto does not have kill/defeat count though...it happens.

It will never land sadly.

I think it has the potential to land in this war, but it will not kill... Though it's possible it could hurt.. I've kinda been wondering how everyone's roles will play out, and I figured after Obito's ability to tank attacks is taken away, maybe Lee will land a hit.... It won't kill because of that Zetsu body regeneration though it will hurt/buy time.
