50.000 chuunins are irrevelant.

No name = no techs, no matchups. Not to mention Akatsuki has high level long range fighters who can demolish things in major scales.

Let me rephrase:

Obito, Nagato, Itachi and Kisame are more than enough to take down kages. It would not even take so long.

Konan, Sasori and Deidara are long range fighters who average chuunin can do nothing on them. Konan spams countless paper shrukens and kill them. Deidara can use clay bombs all over them. He was about demolish a village including many shinobies. Sasori would casually own them with poison coated weapons, hundreds of puppets and iron sand.

These can finish the game. But we still have Kakuzu, Hidan and Zetsu. Kakuzu has ranged elemental attacks and a random shinobi is not getting through domu. Even with the lightning elemental affinity; a chuunin with no skillset can not have same skillset as Kakashi to do so. Hidan can play around doing his ritual or one shotting with his scythe. Zetsu... i don't know much about this plant; but it was giving trouble to Mizukage, Naruto clone, her bodyguards and several jounin. It can casually own aswell.

They are far from irrelevant. I'm pretty sure 50.000 chuunin level ninja are more then enough to defeat even Pain.
The battle basically would be a kage + 10.000 chuunin vs Akatsuki pairs. 10.000 chuunin ( even if they have only basic ninja weapons ) are formidable enemies. The Kages can hide and wait until the fodders defeat the pairs or at least weaken them.

Wut? In Konoha weren't more then 1000-2000 ninjas and the others were civilians ( 7000- 8000 ).

The 3rd Raikage was killed by 10.000 fodders. The battle took 3 days. Imagine 50.000 chuunin and the Gokage vs 7 weaker ninja then the Sandaime and 3 ( one of them with shitty chakra reserves )stronger ninja then the Sandaime. The Akatsuki would be simply outnumbered.

They don't have names or techniques. Nothing is specified. Nothing. Look at the fodders Madara owned with taijutsu. They don't even get up like other named characters. They can only attempt to hold kunai or throw it; which would mean nothing to Akatsuki. They can't even weaken them in an acknowledgable levels. Lets just say somehow fodder weakened half of their power in some unbelievable way. Or took down a pair of Akatsuki somehow. They can still win this.

You don't take into consideration the fact of fighting aspects. Me being a Lee fan has nothing to do with this thread. I don't know why would someone bring it up.
Long range fighters are important here. Deidara, Konan, Sasori. Also Kisame who would overwhelm them with large sacle suitons. And Nagato who can litterally one shot many of them at the same time. These are just half of them. They can weaken their chakra. So? There are others to come. The thing is as i said; even if some of them get really weakened; there are others to come. This is Akatsuki. I am not even an akasuki fangirl. Yet i can just say they would own 50.000 fodders without losing their full capacity.

And i liked kages' attitude you have put up. Letting the fodders go before them just to let Akatsuki tired down. It indeed sounds like them.

Does not matter Pein would not run out with massive attacks he shown. 50,000 folders would just take the wave and wave of attacks throwing Kunais and limit range attacks.


Let use logic now. How many people do you think is in the leaf village? Now throw jonnin in . Now take Pein summons into account.

Pein does not even need to fight the kages because Itachi brains with Obito is enough to handle the two main threat kages like Ay and Ōnoki or to stall once Pein is finish with the folders.

The others would get raped by the few other Akatsuki

Well, it's true that low stamina can be your down fall at times. It's Itachis weakness actually. He can't keep fighting for a long time. D: So yeah, current Sasuke is better than Itachi.

Akatsuki takes this mid-diff at most.

Sasori, Kakuzu and Deidara are more than enough to keep the fodder-army occupied. Honestly, I think the Kages would command them to stay back anyways, since they would be a handicap for them. Gaara would be constantly forced to protect the fodders from large-scale ninjutsu.

Also, Itachis weak stamina isn’t really a factor here, since his role in a group fight wouldn’t be to engage the 50.000 shinobis, but to observe the battlefield with his sharingan, deliver killing-blows to the kages or to block critical strikes with his susanno, if necessary.

Even if the kages manage to kill one akatsuki-member (which I highly doubt), he/she would easily be revived by Pein. Tsunade surely is hard to kill but she will certainly bleed, which gives Hidan the opportunity to do his ritual. Even with intel the kages won’t be able to stop him performing it, if he’s hiding behind Deva, Preta, Itachi or Kisame (they render most of the kages attacks useless).
