could naruto control mukuton?

he does.. wich is why he couldn't simply create the wood himself he could only breathe life in an already existing plant/tree

Idk, I dont think so. I dont think he willing controls that, the Mokuton simply feeds off of Yang Energy, and since Naruto has alot it passively feeds off of it. The same thing happened when Naruto was walking through the forest and when he used Rasengan on Zetsu, who too were made out of wood.

Its like this, Fire burns wood, so then can you control fire? To an extent perhaps, but not really.. Idk, its plausible that with enough chakra control he could get a branch to sprout out where he wants it to go. But that is perhaps the extent of his Mokuton release x__x

but that is exactly the point.. if naruto could focus his yang energy on the part he wants grown, it will grow.

Its plausible that by focusing his ve chakra on one part of a plant/tree he should be able to shape and form the branch into whatever, so I guess it wld be a way for Naruto to use mokuton without the timeous training of 2 elements plus training to use them concurrently.

well tbh for "something new" i'd go for getting the yin chakra and then geting kyuubi sage mode.. but this could be a cool alternative

i know he couldn't create the wood out of nothingness by himself or make it move/dissapear.. it would be more like he could make it grow to wichever direction he wants it to grow
but his yang energy breathed life into yamato's mukuton.. we have seen naruto giving chakra to other peaple so why wouldnt he be able to give chakra to wood?
we also know that he is an expert at chakra manipulation and control.. the rasengan takes tremendous chakra control
i believe all the things to make it sound plausible are there, 'tis up to kishi wether or not it happens ^.^
imagine naruto taking seeds with him to do mukuton attacks.. that would be so awesome x)

With his current levels on Yang energy, if Naruto manages to master Earth and Water element and learn the combination of both elements (to create something alike the Zetsu's DNA), applying the Yang Energy, he should be able to master Mokuton.
