Does anyone actually believe that Shikamaru stands a chance against Sasuke?

As much Shikamaru is one of my Top 5 Faves, I'll say Sasuke beats him with some little difficulty consider the fact how smart Shikamaru is.

What can his smarts do against Amaterasu or enton arrow or Kirin or Susano'o? Shikamaru has NO counter for any of these things. Shika is way smarter than Naruto but he gets shoted by Bijuu mode. Intelligence can only get you so far against the top 10 in Naruto.

A fight between my favorite and second favorite character. That would be interesting.
Sasuke wins but with mid difficultly. He would make brilliant counter strategies to Sasuke's jutsus. However, Sasuke is also a good strategist. He would make counter-strategies to Shikamaru's during the fight
