Well, we can deduce from the evidences at hand, the chains of Kushina and Tobi's chains look exactly alike, their mechanics and purpose which is Bijū suppression are also exactly alike, the chakra chains wasn't said to be a Rinnegan Jutsu, Tobi learned Rikūdo's jutsus from Madara, the chakra chains is a fūinjutsu, the confirmed techs of Rikūdo is either the Rinnegan jutsus or Fūinjutsu, it is a high level Fūinjutsu, the Uzumaki Seals are high level Fūinjutsu, and in this case like I said their aesthetics and functions are the same. Therefore logically the chakra chains is Rikūdo's jutsu: Uzumaki Fūinjutsu

Yes and I'm glad you mentioned the Rinnegan. We cannot discount it since Madara did at one time possess the Rinnegan and it has not been established that Madara knew any Uzumaki Fūinjutsu. So that places us back to speculation. What did Hashirama exclaim when he saw Rinne Tensei? Rikudou's Kinjutsu.

Discard the idea that the Chakra Chains is a Rinnegan Jutsu?

my explanation concerning the remarkable resemblance between juubito and rikudou was rather different and much simpler. As we know, each jinchuriki has its special mode. For instance, the kyubi's jinchuriki form is that of minato and naruto; it is not a coincidence that they both have the same form... its the kuybis jinchuriki form.

Similarly, I think that the juubi's jinchuriki form was that of obito and rikudous. Based on the assumption that the staff is only chakra made, and not an item in rikudou's case, I hypothesised that the stuff would be the chakra item that only those at the rikudou sage level could obtain.

It is fair to asses that every picture that we have of the rikudou is in juubi mode, becuase of the chakra tamoe necklace thing around the higher chest; since naruto's and minato's kuybi omode have the same necklace thing. Obito's juubi mode has the same necklace chakra... There is a lot of similarities that hint that the resemblance is because of the juubi.

Incorrect, then why are the Bijū Modes of Killer B and the other Jinchūrikis so different? Why do they assume the animal form of their Bijūs whereas Naruto, Minato and Obito assume the appearance of Rikūdo? It is because their seal is unique: Uzumaki Seals

thats why i am not basing the assumption on the sealing technique. I am saying that the the bijus along with the jinchuriki's determine the form. It is very very unlikely that the form of a biju mode is based on the seal!

edit: as far as i have observed - the bijou modes have been created by kishi to somehow go along with the characteristics of the bijous themselves.
