Before the four Hokages left Konoha, Hiruzen's words was " My first battle in a long while... I'll have to stay focused"
It's kinda weird he said that the fact that he died in a battle against Orochimaru. This had me thinking that aside from his age as handicap, the shock of fighting his student and masters prevented him from fighting with his full potential. He was shocked and became emotional when Hashi and Tobirama was summoned. I'm not sure if he will show us OP jutsus but I'm guessing he'll come up with a brilliant plan to put some harm on Obito.

What you say is true. However, for me, it's hard to believe that an old geezer wearing a onesie will be something extraordinary off. Hell, he's not even cool-looking. You'd expect something badass from Tobirama because of his appearance.
Thank goodness all the Hashirama vs Hiruzen debates ended. I disliked those more than the Tobi theories.

I KNEW people preferred Tobirama just because of his design, even though until now he was equally as fearless.

I personally think the reason I've been hoping for something badass is because every mangaka save for Kishi always creates an older character with enormous power. Yamamoto, Whitebeard, Netero, etc. Kishi must not respect his elders. He was an 80s child, after all.

P.S. Kishimoto declared in the Official Fanbook that Enma was the Strongest summon he created. So that alone should help you believe in the Saru =D​

Even Minato is not doing too bad either.
