Alright. There are many conflicting fanbases around here. You can probably think of several; such as Sasuke and Naruto, Itachi and Minato, Hinata and Sakura etc...
The thing i want to say is; what is the point of praising something over by another thing that is in a lower level based on the opinion? If you think something sucks; it sucks and being somehow better than it should not count as something worthful. It is meaningless; it is just meant for targetting another with one sided opinions while taking another to higher levels by seemingly made gap; again with the same sided opinions.
These always happen (common examples):
"Sakura sucks as a main heroine; Hinata is better so she is awesome"
(If Sakura sucks and horrible; how can being better than her should mean something? How can being compared to something horrible based on an opinion makes any other thing better?)
"Look how much of a dumba$$ Naruto looked chapter; Sasuke is awesome he saved his a$$ lol"
"Sasuke is an arrogant prick Naruto is awesome and humble and hard worker hmph"
(Yeah these happen; not neccessarily in this context; but somehow like this. If another sucks in terms of development/power/skills/personality; then being better than him should not mean that much. Somehow parts of these two fanbases are eating each other; bashing each other; hell some of them even blame each other saying "don't be hating; look we are not hating!!!". I am not biased. Neither of these characters are my faves; believe it. Being unbiased; this is how i see; constant targetting from both "sides". But of course i am not saying whole fanbases are doing this. No generalization from me.)
The fact that all these "hating" happening just for the cause of hyping another is ridiculous. I won't tell anyone what to do; but seriously; all these stuff seems like saying "i prefer to eat dung beetles because they taste better than dung itself".
Anyway; i just wanted to let it out; that's how i see; flames will be appreciated.
