I have stumbled upon compelling evidence suggesting that Garfield did in fact assist in the Uchiha Massacre.
Just to be clear, this is what the accomplice of Itachi looks like:
Now, where is my evidence you ask? Well I will get to that in a moment. I have a screenshot I would like to share:
Now obviously this is a scene from the Uchiha Massacre.... but... there is something peculiarly strange about this image.
The face of this scoundrel is hidden in the shadows. Well, I inspected this image further and gathered the following data.
Aha! You can clearly see that Garfield was in fact involved with the Uchiha Massacre. What are his motives? Is this a revelation to the Naruto series? I conclude this research by saying that Garfield did in fact assist Itachi and served as an accomplice.
