lol da faq. He didn't need Kurama's help to gain Sage Mode. Also, having Kurama inside him actually hinders the full potential of Sage Mode. Naruto can't fuse with Fukasaku and Shima who could provide him with a constant source of natural chakra for a longer/better sage mode because of the fox inside him.

The Hokage should be someone who doesnt need some extra source of power.

Ex: Sharingan, Sage Mode, Tailed Beast, etc.
