Ya, it was, how ever it has been stated too that Minato would have improved the FTG technique, so the second wasn't supposed to be so good at it...

FTG is FTG whoever can use it is obviously really good at it, the only way I see Minato improving it is with Kunais which most likely the 2nd didn't use.

it looked like Minato was trying to keep up with Tobirama during their assault on Obito. Now I wonder what all the Minato > Tobirama people will think on here.

tobirama is a wimpy kage. he's similar to minato in that he's fast, but he doesn't know the uzumaki clan seals, has no kyuubi cloak, and presumably died to better-than-avg ninja (kin gin bros).

nowhere near hashirama league, just fast.
