I'm in need of some anime movie(s) that could compete with masterpieces like:

- Akira
- all Hayao Miyazaki's movies
- Sword of the Stranger


Any suggestions?

Also, please state your favorite movies that are not anime related.

Goodness, I have seen nearly all of the Myazaki films and watching anime movies is a hobby of mine. I will recommend Summer Wars & Wolf Children these trailer's will help better show then an explanation.

Hmmm... How about 5 Centimetres Per Second? I haven't seen it myself, but I've heard a lot of good things about it. Or The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. Have also heard good things about that one.
