I've never understood it. Please explain why America is so appealing. Like I'm not complaining or anything, i've just never understand the huge appeal.

It's the whole Free thing, and that America seems to be the most popular/safest place in the world.

I live in Southern California, with sunny beaches and awesome times.

However, I'm also a college student trying to find work, taking summer classes, and balancing personal things like family and friends.

Yes; it's true that there is plenty to do in Cali, especially over summer. It's an amazing blessing. I was just at the US Open with some friends a week or so ago.

Unfortunately, I am but one person. I can't do everything I want to do, or all that they offer here. I try my best while trying to balance my schedule.

And besides, I check NB on my phone when I'm not at home. A much more efficient time-waster than the likes of Instagram and others, lol.

I completely understand when you put it that way. Good thing you are grateful to be living there, and are aware that it is arguably the best state in America.

Maybe not safest, but least likely to go to war on it's home turf.

I was born in Orlando and lived there for 11 years. I used to be proud of being from FL, but it seems as though the many of the people there have become lowly. So many bogus news stories originate from there.

Car meets at the Fry's on in Escondido. Friday night street legal Drags at Qualcom. But then I got offered a job in the East Coast and moved.

Hey if they want to spend time online with other folks of the same interest, then let them be.
