As for Scenario 1, I don't see Kakashi managing to defend against Asa Kujaku.

How can Gai kill Kakashi in two, when Kakashi can warp himself?

He will simply wait for Gai to use Asa Kujaku and Hirudora and Kamui himself, making Gai exhaust himself for nothing.
