Mei is a good counter to pretty much anyone

Mei is the most versatile elemental ninjutsu user, and that gives her an advantage against pretty much anyone. Engaging her in CQC is suicide because of her acid mist technique (there go people like E and Gai), and even their speed wont help, since she can spread the mist and she wont be seen (they arent senors) while they will melt. Or her Giant suitons that she can spread on the battlefield and make someone like Minato who relies on Kunais or seals useless (His locations will be displaced and he wont be able to touch her), or her lava technique which proved to be very good against KCM Naruto (there it was used by a weaker user in the face of jinchuriki, and lets face it, Kages > Jinchuuriki since jinchuurikis were made people close to the kages so they can keep them in check.), and all in all her elemental releases have given a fair chalenge to Madara.

I completely agree. Mei is severely underestimated, and her title as Kage is nothing to scoff at. While she would probably still lose to Madara, she had very good counters to the majority of his jutsu.

She's underestimated.

But you're underestimating the others as well. There are many "cheats" to make manga characters almost invincible. Naruto's Kage Bunshin is the biggest cheat ever. Every character has those.
But this is a manga, the level is set by Kishi.

Why Kages > Jinchuuriki?
It doesn't make sense...
Jinchuuriki > Kages
Wouldn't make sense as well.
Since when titles like these meant something?
