Why is it that the balls of chakra are differently colored than his staff? They're made of the same chakra...

Kakashi has gone through WORSE, I just feel like this shouldn't be enough to turn Obito 100% evil

Obito's whole world was taken away, he clung desperately to the hope that some day he could emerge and see Rin/Kakashi again.

Then Kakashi killed rin, and his world was destroyed.

Kakashi didn't meet a certain Madara Uchiha and his Zetsu

well Obito was resisting Madara's ideology until he saw Kakashi kill Rin, btw didn't he say he's not ''buddies'' with Madara and wasn't even planning to resurrect Madara?.. meaning this is all Obito's doing?

I guess that's worse than ur father killing himself and then ur friend dying b4 your eyes because you were a bad leader, and then having to kill the last team member you had?

I'm NOT bashing Obito, I'm just saying it's out of character for him and for him to turn evil so easily, it's just -__-

Well its also his sharingan which amplifies his feelings of hatred. If you think about it naruto has been dealing with his hatred for most of the series, the only difference between them is that naruto goes berserk because of kurama. In fact, naruto succumbed to his hatred after hinata (his love) died so he's really no different from obito other than the fact that obito is an uchiha. It took naruto a large amount of time to overcome his hatred yet madara encouraged it for obito, he was young & easily manipulated due to his newfound goal.

That doesn't mean that he still wouldn't take his ideology into account. The main factor in all of this is environment. Kakashi had people like Gai and Minato around him who spurred him out of depression. Obito had no one around him to snap him out of these beliefs. Trust me, if Minato had talked to Obito after Rin was killed he would understand the whole situation.

Apart from it making absolutely no sense, but then again common sense isn't the reason I watch Naruto in the first place.

I don't understand how this guy

Not only does it absolutely ruin the kid Obito's character, I also feel like it's out of character for Obito, it's something that he would NEVER do (I mean turn evil and all), I mean if Kakashi can witness his father committing suicide, his friend dying in his presence and him killing of the last of his team mate, how much more Obito who was shown to be a lot kinder than Kakashi as a kid

Kakashi wasn't born with a predisposition to the curse of hatred.

Thought he was Izuna heh? He is evil because of how worthless he saw this reality to be. When Rin died and he was emotionally weak, Madara altered him. He is a little kid who grew up.. I don't see how a runt in Team 7 became the leader of a war. I don't see how some dude with glasses became a Sage. People grow up and it has almost been a year since Obito has been revealed. Suck it up and move on..

It's an anime.

Kishi draws the characters, we fap off to them.

They don't have separate feeling, only the ones Kishi gives them.

You're sounding as if this show is real life.

To be fair Obito if not revealed to be Tobi would have caused many contradictions to the whole 'Uchiha curse' thing. Fans would start questioning why Izuna and Madara fell to it when Obito had shown no signs whatsoever.

Well if you can't find it logical how can Obito be Tobi, there isn't any problem in the chronological order but I won't go into details because right now I'm too lazy. As for ruining his character, it didn't, in fact quite the contrary. No one likes a villain who does all he does just because for the cliche of conquering the world. By making the good into the bad one it gives a realistic element to the story. People don't always stay as they are, they changed based on the hardships they go through. Also, you say that Obito's change is a bit biased, well not really. Obito was a guy who sacrificed himself to save his teamate and went even as far as to give him his sharingan to pretect the one he loved. Then he stayed for months alone with Madara, who had a very twisted character and despite that he sticks to his ways only to witness later with his own eyes the death of her loved one by the hand of the man, she loved and to whom Obito had entrusted his eye to protect her. I think that's quite enough to become crazy.

For that reason I really like Obito, he's my second favourite after Naruto. He's a perfect anti-hero who used to have the same ideals Naruto has and yet we see him how much his minc has now twisted becoming a fallen sage of six paths and getting the biggest power that ever existed. But the reason I like him most of all is because he's not a victim. In contrast to other characters like Nagato, Obito knows full well that can't trust others like Madara and even goes as far as to trick the man who saved his life, even if he did it for his own reasons showing just how clever Obito was since he was a kid.

He's not just another naif guy. He knows what he wants and is there to get it:cool

Also here is a quote from when he was a good guy: (To Kakashi) "Those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon their comrades are worse than trash! If I'm going to be called trash either way, I'd rather break the rules! And if that somehow makes me anything less than a real shinobi, then I'll crush all of the so-called "real" shinobi!"

He always had a specific philosophy, just the way things turned, strenghtened his opinion.
