So you only hate Sasuke fan/fanboys and not Sasuke himself? For me Sasuke is my fourth favourite character and I like to pick on people who hate Sasuke.

Okay, I'm a fan of Sasuke since the beginning. He has always been my favorite character but NO.
Sasuke has not been a friend to Naruto. imo to not recognize that as legit flaw in his character is a giant disservice to Sasuke's complex character. Yes, Sasuke spared Naruto at the Valley of the end. However, in part 2, he repeatedly tried to kill Naruto. These are not the actions of a true friend.
At this point, while Sasuke is well on his way to redemption (looking to future, saving his comrades, has given up revenge) he is not redeemed yet. He still has dark intentions, which Naruto will save him from in their final battle which Naruto will win. Then Naruto offers his hand to Sasuke in friendship, not repeating the mistake of the First. It's at this point that Sasuke will have his chance for final redemption. Will he take Naruto's hand or not? If he does, then Sasuke has been redeemed.
I agree to some extent that Sasuke should not become a "TNJ slave," Sasuke should remain the yin to Naruto's yang. This makes them the perfect team. Each able to point out the weaknesses in the other's logic, as they go to help reform the ninja world. Sasuke and Naruto compliment each other. Where there is a weakness in one, there is a strength in the other. Sasuke absolutely cannot become the yang. Their teamwork would be gone. However, Sasuke needs to mature and control his hatred, but again he must remain the yin. He just cannot be destructive. The yang cannot exist with the yin and vice versa.
