According to the anime and manga We know that she is the grand daughter of Hasirama Senju and Mito Uzumaki. and her Life force and stamina is very strong that's very typical of Senju clan.

remember: Her seal is not the speciality of the Senjus it's the LIFE FORCE and STAMINA and she has it. Seals are the speciality of uzumaki clan.

this doesn't make ANY sense at all.
Senju is just a clan, hashirama is the only senju that is able to perform wood, and there were hundreds of senjus. Many senjus were stronger than tsunade, like tobirama, hashirama, their father probably too and maybe some more, but the fact that tsunade is a sannin and a hokage and even able to use the byakugou seal proves that she is even far stronger than most of the senjus.
Being a senju has nothing to do with your abilities, it has to do with your blood and relatives
