Hope for my grandma, please

I had this too a few years ago, my grandma started to suffer from dementia and died a few months later, she couldn't even remember me when I visited her for the last time ...

So you're not alone in this, just stay by her side and support your parents too.=D

Thanks. Yeah, thats what we are trying to do. Just spend time with her before she does. Leaving knowing that her family cared.
I won't force them, i just think its sick, to treat your own mother like that while she is dying.

Sorry about what your going through, I do hope she gets better, but you said the family sucks but that's not entirely true if your in it right I mean you care so much for her and thats definitely something. I wish your grandma the best.

I have a firm belief that anything can be stopped. I'll keep your grandmother in my prayers. As long as she as well as the rest of the family can stay strong, then maybe there is hope. I'm not sure how old she is, but if she has the strength to not be confined to a bed then you and your family should walk with her and try to get her to eat some healthy foods. There are some amazing elderly people in this world, some of which got second chances by overcoming things like this. Realistically cancer is no joke, and it can be very deadly. You just have to look past this and hope for the best results, but be prepared for the worst. It may just be her time, and it would be cruel to keep her living under such conditions. I'm sure she's been an amazing woman who's done great things and has loved all her children regardless of their grudges.

We've moved on, the biggest part is always the shock... I remember my dad handled it really well, you'll make it.

Thank you. We try with her, she won't eat, she is scared to lay in her bed, cause she thinks she might pass away. I tried to hug her today and when i couldn't because it hurt her. She is just gotten really bad. But thanks for your post.

Yeah, the shock is what really gets people. I would have never thought she would die with something like this. Especially this bad. Gets me scared, my mom could get this, my brother could get this, anyone could get this at anytime. Even me.

Uh I know how it feels my grandma doesn't have cancer but she just turned 90 last month.

I can't imagine loosing her. Anyways, I hope & wish your grandma will stay longer!

Have hopes, although my grandma didn't have it as bad she overcame her cancer and she is doing fine. I hope your grandma can overcome it too and if not I hope she passes peacefully and pain free.

We found out my g-grandma had cancer right, and its really bad cause its just spreading like a wild fire.
She may not be with us long, they say she might die at anytime ..

Just got done spending time with her and stuff. It's really sad to see her like this .

Sorry for those news. Maby she can't get any better now, but that's how it ends with everyone. I hope you had a good time with her.
And yeah, those situations with those guys happens a lot in my country. Kinda sad isn't it? But you can't do nothing about it, still good job for being there.
After it ends, at least there won't be pain anymore.

well dont lose hope and dont give up yet diet has shown to be a factor in cancer treatment do some research and give her courage as ones inn cancer start to lose energy and mentally fall victim and do not care themselves, be strong and keep her strong.

If your family is the only one supporting her (immediate) then show her you care and ur care should make her forget bout other good luck
